AI-Powered Media Briefings

The media monitoring software firm, Agility PR, have integrated OpenAI's generative AI capabilities into their media briefings module, essentially creating an AI-powered PR analyst that saves countless hours of manual work. Agility’s media briefings module is used to generate earned media reports that provide key stakeholders with a digestible summary of placements, advertising value, sentiment, impressions, and more. Traditionally, creating these reports required significant time and effort from experienced media analysts.

With just a few clicks, the system generates contextual summaries and analyses for each article, eliminating the need to read through them manually. The AI module offers a range of sub-components, including intelligent summaries, contextual analysis, sentiment opinions, mention insights, likely audience profiles, lists of people/places/brands mentioned, key facts and figures, and even extracted quotes. It's like having a superhuman media analyst at your fingertips! And next, Agility are planning to release the capability to analyse entire groups of articles simultaneously which will provide an unprecedented level of insight and efficiency for PRs.

This deep integration of generative AI into media monitoring is revolutionary and smart PR agencies will quickly recognise the competitive advantage this technology offers. Providing comprehensive media briefings without the associated costs and headaches of manual analysis is now a reality.

In short, Agility seems to be leading the charge in the PR tech AI revolution. By deeply embedding generative AI within their reporting module, we’re now moving beyond simplistic tools like press-release writers, and into a much more mature phase which is set to change the game for PR professionals. If you're not already on board with this stuff, it's time to sit up and take notice!
